2. to return to the other ajustments in the tab click the arrow on the side.

3. to hide this ajustment (without deleating it) click the eye

4. to temporaraly hide the last move you performed in the ajustment use this eye, or the circular arrow to revert.

MassArt…!!

Just got this in the mail today

So, I may be in Boston in just about 4 or 5 months from now…

Post-Bacc looks like a good option, and what a team I would get to work with!

Using Camera Raw

When you open a raw file (.dng, .cr2, .raw or whatever format your camera chooses) photoshop will open this dialogue box:

Note the important areas: Navigation side (if you open multiple images), Tool Bar (zoom and crop), Histogram, and your basic image editing tools.

From here you may edit your images,  however you do three things, either open the image in photoshop (for further editing), save the image (bypassing photoshop), or click done and leave the updated RAW file in place.

Don’t forget the little blue bar at the bottom that lets us change the bit depth to 16

So, for this assignment open your raw image, edit it, now open it up in photoshop.

From here go to File/Save as… to save this as a PSD

Hope this helps, email me with any questions!

Images from my LA weekend

Coleen flew me down for a weekend with the kids.  This involved

Jumping with the older kids

Managing the younger child (with help from Julietta)

Lots of carrying the baby (Juda)

The house (West LA, close to the beach)

Breakfast in Santa Monica

What was that Gavin?!

Put your sister down!

(Only Terry can pick her up)

I was worried that I would stand out, being from Seattle and all

Yea, I guess I did not need to worry about that (checker at CrossRoads)

Did a few cool LA things

(Went to FreeStyle and Sammy’s, cool for a photo nerd)

Also popped over to MOCA to say hi to Vera and watch people looking at art

(lady sizes up Rothco)

Father instructs his children on the importance of art (the kids we not having it) (little anarchists)

And before heading out I had to get pizza in my old neighborhood–Fairfax, super cool.
